MACEDONIA, Ohio: The City of Macedonia is accepting applications for its Senior Assistance Program. The program helps eligible low income residents with several essential household services. Those services include rubbish disposal, snow removal and a one time gutter cleaning.
Who qualifies
The program is open to Macedonia residents age 65 and older who meet the low income requirements. The city uses current Summit County HUD figures for the very low income bracket to determine eligibility.
Residents under age 65 may also qualify if they are disabled and meet the low income requirements. Those applicants must provide a current physician’s note verifying the disability.
