My 4th of July ended with a classic traditional bang, but my recipes were a hit! For the 4th of July, I made a summer salad, homemade vinaigrette salad dressing, and a red white and lime-flavored drink.Â
All Serving Sizes are 15
 Summer SaladÂ
IngredientsÂ
1 bag of kaleÂ
1 bag of mixed greensÂ
10 strawberriesÂ
16 oz of blueberries
3 sliced applesÂ
8 oz of halved almonds
1 red onionÂ
16 oz of blueberriesÂ
16 oz of raspberries
8 oz of dried raspberriesÂ
1 cucumberÂ
My Homemade Vinaigrette DressingÂ
IngredientsÂ
1 tablespoon of Italian seasoningÂ
1 teaspoon of parsleyÂ
1 teaspoon of sageÂ
1 teaspoon of pepperÂ
1 teaspoon of Himalayan saltÂ
3 tablespoons of minced garlicÂ
1 tablespoon of honeyÂ
1 tablespoon of steviaÂ
¼ cup of orange juiceÂ
½ cup of lemon juiceÂ
1 cup of olive oilÂ
2 cups of balsamic vinegarÂ
                           DirectionsÂ
Take a mason jar and pour in the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, and orange juice. Shake for 30 seconds and add in the honey and shake for 30 seconds.Â
Add in the rest of the ingredients and shake for 30 seconds. Let dressing marinate for 4 hours in the fridge.
My homemade lime surpriseÂ
IngredientsÂ
7 blueberriesÂ
10 raspberriesÂ
10 blackberriesÂ
7 strawberriesÂ
â…“ cup of sugar
½ cup of waterÂ
2 liters of lemon-lime sodaÂ
1 liter of lemon-lime sparkling waterÂ
Small bag of iceÂ
Blue and blackberries to garnishÂ
Tequila if desiredÂ
                           DirectionsÂ
Take all four fruits and mash them in a saucepan. Turn the stove on medium and add in the sugar water. Let it cook until it starts boiling. Let it simmer for 2 minutes, then let it cool.Â
Take the ice, soda and sparkling water and add it in a pitcher. Then stir in the berry sauce. (If you like you can add 8oz of tequila or as much as you need the pitcher😁) Finally, add blue and blackberries as a garnish.Â
