The Nordonia Knights 10U LFG team brought their gameplay home this past weekend at the annual Nordonia Bash baseball tournament held here locally and ran by the NHAA (Nordonia Hills Athletic Association). The Knights went 4-0 overall, with wins over the Highland Hornets, Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (x2) and the Independence Blue Devils to win the Tournament.
All 11 players for the knights contributed above and beyond over the weekend. Coach Brian “LGW” Mamich said it perfectly with his response from the last out of the Championship game, “ We played FYU baseball all weekend as a team and brought home the championship for ourselves and our community! Off to the Sagamore Beach for some fun & relaxation, because the boys deserve it!”
Not only did the Knights dominate the field in gameplay, Emmett Rose won the Home Run Derby for the 10U age division.
