Nordonia Knights Claims Victory Over Stow-Munroe Falls

Nordonia Knights beat Stow-Munroe Falls 7-2 on Monday.

Nordonia Knights opened up scoring in the second inning, when Dominic Perrine singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.

In the top of the third inning, Stow-Munroe Falls tied things up at one. Vober singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Nordonia Knights pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth an error scored two runs for Nordonia Knights and Logan Shaffer singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Nordonia Knights notched three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by Nordonia Knights was led by Perrine and Rocco Covelli, all driving in runs in the frame.

Brad Buddenhagen earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Nordonia Knights. Buddenhagen surrendered two runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out five.

Orosz took the loss for Stow-Munroe Falls. The bulldog lasted one-third of an inning, allowing one hit and three runs.
