Nordonia Knights Nabs Win Over Twinsburg Despite Early 3-Run Inning, 6 – 3

Nordonia Knights weathered a push by Twinsburg in the third inning where Nordonia Knights coughed up three runs, but Nordonia Knights still won 6-3 on Thursday. Phillips and Kimmel all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Matt Janosek was credited with the victory for Nordonia Knights. Janosek lasted five innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out five and walking one. Brendan Hermensky threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Logan Mills took the loss for Twinsburg. The pitcher surrendered six runs on five hits over four innings, striking out four and walking one.

Nordonia Knights tallied seven hits in the game. Michael Ebert and Jacob Shirk each had multiple hits for Nordonia Knights. Shirk and Ebert each collected two hits to lead Nordonia Knights.

Twinsburg was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. #24 had the most chances in the field with seven.
