On Friday, January 26th, two teams from Nordonia High School competed in downtown Akron at the Summit County Courthouse. Team One placed second among twenty teams at the district competition, defeating Hudson and Stow in trials, thereby advancing to regional competition to be held mid-February. Team Two had close trials but were defeated by the first-place Archbishop Hoban team and by Austintown Fitch. Winning Outstanding Witness awards were seniors Devin Sethna and Keirstin Trehan, as well as freshman David Yax. Winning Outstanding Attorney awards were sophomores Aden Khatri and Olivia Tidmore, as well as senior Keirstin Trehan. The teams are coached by Farhad Sethna and Endre Szentkiralyi.
