Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights Struggles to Find Groove Against Twinsburg, losing 13 – 3

Wednesday was a long day for Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights, falling to Twinsburg 13-3.

Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights fired up the offense in the first inning. Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights scored two runs when Larken Koran homered.

Twinsburg knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the first inning, when #15 singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Twinsburg pulled away for good with six runs in the second inning. In the second #13 singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, #7 drew a walk, scoring one run, #22 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, and #15 doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

#2 got the start for Twinsburg. The hurler surrendered three runs on two hits over five innings, striking out seven.

Mya Henderson was in the pitcher’s circle for Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights. The hurler went one and one-third innings, allowing eight runs on four hits. #5 threw two and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.
