Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights’s Strong Offense Not Enough to Secure Win Against Cuyahoga Falls losing 12 – 6

Bats were blistered on Monday, but Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights couldn’t quite get the job done against Cuyahoga falls and lost 12-6.

The Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Cuyahoga falls, giving up 12 runs.

In the first inning, Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights got their offense started when Alyssa Smigel was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Amy Haselow led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights. The hurler went two and a third innings, allowing seven runs on six hits and striking out one. Mya Henderson threw three and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Brooke Becker went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Nordonia Varsity Lady Knights in hits.

Cuyahoga falls racked up 14 hits on the day. #10, #21, #12, and #4 all managed multiple hits for Cuyahoga falls. #10 led Cuyahoga falls with four hits in four at bats.
