Northfield Center Safety and Administration Building Groundbreaking

This past week on a rainy day, many local officials were on hand for the Northfield Center Safety and Administration building groundbreaking.

A representative from State Rep. Dave Joyce’s office, Tom Queen presented a certificate of congressional achievement for the groundbreaking ceremony for the new building.

Casey Weinstein, Ohio House of Representatives
Don Saunders, Zoning Inspector
Helen Humphrys, former Northfield Center Twp. administrator
Ilene Shapiro, Executor Summit County
Kristina Roegner, Ohio Senate
Kristine Bissler, president of the Nordonia Hills Chamber of Commerce
Nick Molnar, Mayor of Macedonia
Paul Buescher, former Trustee Northfield Center
Rich Reville, Northfield Center Trustee
Rick Patz, Northfield Center Trustee
Rita Darrow, Summit County Council
Russ Mazolla, Northfield Center Trustee.

According to Russ Mazolla, This building will be a fire station, police outpost, administrative, and it will have a 500 square foot multi purpose room for meetings and residents. It should be completed later this year.
