See link to agenda here – all legislation has passed.
Here are the highlights from the meeting on July 13th.
PURPOSE: To establish a policy and procedure for use of Township issued telephones and pagers
Northfield Center Township provides cell phones, desk phones, and pagers to authorized personnel to conduct Township business. This policy contains provisions specifically designed to contain costs, promote responsibility, foster accountability, and prevent the improper use of telephones and pagers
This policy is out dated. For example pagers are not needed now. The trustees discussed phone and pagers that are no longer needed. Trustees Reville and Mazola have personal cell phones and are partially reimbursed for using their personal cell phones. Paul Buescher has a cell phone provided by Northfield Center. Paul has had this phone number for many years and does not want to use a personal phone for township business.

Safety Services Committee
Joe Grezelak reported: There have been no meetings because of COVID-19. His main concern is “whether we will get any support in our attempt to bring in a police department here after the actions of two trustees a couple of weeks ago removing the one flag that was at the safety building. Word got out real quick in surrounding departments. They are going to be worried about being thrown under the bus.” Russ Mazzola stated later in the meeting: “There is nobody on this board that is anti-police. We I am very pleased now with the flag posture with the american flag and the blue line flag at the townhall and the safety building and the military flags.”
