Dear Residents
I am running for RE-ELECTION AS NORTHFIELD CENTER TRUSTEE, and I am asking for your vote. For the past 20 years I have been dedicated and committed to Northfield Center Township as a Trustee. My experience and accomplishments make me the best choice and deserving of your support and re-election. I want to highlight for you some of those
accomplishments:
– Fought for Grant funding (150K) to update the Beacon Hills Park, adding new Pickle Ball courts, updating the Tennis Courts and Basketball courts and refurbished the playground equipment.
– We worked with our State Reps and Senators to obtain a 250k grant to update our Fire Equipment.
– Upgraded and streamlined our Fire Station along with our Administrative Office to a new location that will serve the community more efficiently. We also negotiated a 15-year agreement with the City of Macedonia to help maintain our costs
– We have worked to upgrade the roads in the neighborhood by using a process that recycles the materials and builds a better base. We are looking for a longer performance on these roads and helping us reduce our paving costs per square yard and gives us a better road surface than chip and seal.
– We are working with the County and State to improve the Route 82 corridor for better traffic flow. We are also working on drainage and road improvements for the Norwood Lake area.
– I was able to secure a grant from the Summit County Executive office to repair and improve the storm water management for the VFW Hall. While working with the group to clean out the ditches and help improve storm water flow in the area.
– These Accomplishments have been made with the hard work and strong collaboration by all three Township Trustees. By working as a team, we have accomplished a great deal to better serve our residents. I am proud of our accomplishments and of
Northfield Center Township. I will continue to keep Northfield Center fiscally strong by looking for new revenue and grants, continuing to cut expenses, and finding new ways to make local government work smarter.
– My family and I have lived in Northfield Center since 1975. Here are the associations I have been involved with:
– Trustee since 2004
– North Hills Water District past Chairperson
– Northfield Center Board of Zoning
– Northfield Center Board of Zoning Appeals
– Summit County Planning Board member
– Fr. Dans Helping Hands, Community meal
and food bank program.
– St Barnabas athletic association Chairperson
– St Barnabas Welcome Committee Donut Sunday (now on our 32 nd year)
– Vice President of Summit County Township Trustee Assoc, Ditch Avengers.
– Northfield Center Macedonia Jedd Board Vice Chair
– Ohio township Association
– Northfield Macedonia Cemetery Board Chairperson
I thank you for your support in the past and enjoy working for the residents of Northfield Center, I am asking for your support in this election so we can continue with these needed improvements.
