On February 29, 2020 Officers of the Northfield Village Police Department said goodbye to one of their own. Officer James Catania retired after 18 years of service to Northfield Village. Jim started his career with Northfield Village Police as a part time Police Officer in 2002. Jim was one of those guys that you could always count on to come and fill a shift when you needed it. Jim was a faithful, honest, and loyal employee and will be greatly missed! — Chief John M. Zolgus
