Obituary: ADAM P. MILEY

1670

Adam was a warm and loving soul who had the superpower of walking in and lighting up a room. His smile, laugh, and energy was contagious, and he loved to talk. If you were getting ready to have a conversation with Adam, you were preparing for a lot of time, and most of that time you spent listening, which was fine because any advice you gave, he was sure to do the opposite just to prove you wrong.

He was an accomplished self-made car painter, which was only one of the things he taught himself how to do. He loved music and loved to play the guitar, which he also taught himself how to do; anything that Adam put his mind to, he could accomplish. He was always energetic about learning and trying new things, his late Grandpa Miley used to always say, “Adam’s always in high gear!”

He was known to many people in many different ways, as a son, a brother, a grandson, an uncle, a cousin, a nephew, a loving boyfriend, and a caring friend, but more recently he gained another title, “Daddy”, to almost 1-year old Tyson. His mini-me, Adam loved Tyson with all of his heart, and was proud to call him his son. He loved taking him out and showing him off over the last year, rising to the title of Dad was Adam’s greatest accomplishment.

Despite all of these things, Adam battled his own mind for a long time, frustratingly seeking something he just couldn’t find. The loss of Adam is palpable in every relationship he made during his time here and he will be deeply missed by countless people, he will never know the impact he had during his time in this life.

Adam was the loving father of Tyson Kurpik; beloved son of Brian Miley (Sara) and Rhonda Williams (the late Jim) (nee Aliff); dear brother of Zach Miley (Jess) and Blake Williams (Amanda Episcopo); grandson of Robert and  Inez Miley (both deceased), Helen and Carl Aliff, and Jane and Mason Williams; cherished boyfriend of Nicole Bugenske; uncle of Aiden and Grayson Miley; nephew of Randy and Gail Aliff and Timmy Williams; cousin of Melissa and Mason Pena and Jessie Aliff (Bailey Faust).
