DONALD RICHARD SKALAK, age 90, of Twinsburg, passed away on February 23, 2022. Beloved husband of Joan Ranftl Matz Skalak and Priscella (deceased); loving father of Donald Skalak (Cathy), Jeffery Skalak (Diana), Barbara Allison (John), Nancy Steckel (Dave), Robert Matz (Karen), Barbara Matz Murphy (Mike), Julie Matz Chambers (John-deceased) and Susan Matz Miller (deceased) (Scott); grandfather of Donald Skalak, Kelly Kerns, Katie Davison, Elizabeth Shaw, Michael Murphy, Erin Murphy, Kaylee Steckel, Morgan Steckel, Andrew Steckel, Ryan Matz, Amanda Brown, Hannah Skalak, Ashely McCartney, Samantha Miller, Jessica Miller, Amanda Miller, Jason Chambers, Ryan Chambers; great grandfather of Layla Shaw, Lucas Shaw, Harper Kerns, Clara Kerns, Presley Davison, Finnegan Steckel, Ariya Murphy, Isla Murphy, Elijah Murphy, Matthew Miller, Jordan Ultsch, Madison Vincent, Rhys Ashton, Khloe Smelko, Ryan Smelko, Daniel Smelko, Luke Brown, and Colton Brown; brother of Terry Young and the following deceased, Evelyn Tuttle, Lawrence Skalak and, Ronald Skalak. Don is also survived by his beloved feline friend, Maddie. A Navy veteran, Don was happiest when surrounded by family which has grown tremendously through the years.
