DUANE EUGENE LAYMAN, age 88, of Northfield Center, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was born on November 9th, 1935 in Clinton, Pennsylvania. Beloved husband of Carrie M (nee Brown); loving dad of Becky Keller, and Bonnie Eaton (Glenn); cherished pap-pap of Jennifer Reed (John II), David Eaton (Sadie), Andrew Keller, Kim Eaton (fiance Tyler Bowman), and Alyssa Keller; great grandpa of John Reed III; dear brother of Dolores (Walker) Layman, Doretta Layman-Billeaudeau, and Doris Jean Layman. He is preceded in death by his parents Emory F. Layman and Bessie M. (Keefer) Layman, brothers Dexter Layman and Domer Layman, and sisters Dorothy (Layman) McKlveen and Darlene (Layman) Beal. Duane had a big heart and loved his family dearly. He always had a smile, a sense of humor, and enjoyed sharing stories & telling jokes. He enjoyed his job at Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant for 30 years. His hobbies included gardening, genealogy, and collecting coins & stamps. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was very proud of them. He will be missed dearly.
