Edward J. Hovorka III, age 71 of Northfield Village passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He is the beloved Husband of 36 years of the late Judy A. (nee Hart) Hovorka; loving father of Anna (Kurt) Jaworski of Sagamore Hills; dear brother of Marjorie Burkholder and loving uncle of Amy (Keary) Knerem and Eddie (Brianna) Burkholder.
Ed loved music. He was passionate about playing bass guitar. His musical career spanned over 50 years playing with various bands, choirs, even recording several CDs and demos. He especially loved praising the Lord with his talents. At St. Barnabas Church he had a 30 plus year span of playing in their various bands and choirs.
The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering 4-8 PM Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 West Aurora Road (Route 82, One Mile West of Route 8), Northfield Center, Ohio (330) 468-1443. Everyone is asked to gather at church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Friday, March 1, 2024 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield Center, Ohio followed by inurnment at All Saints Cemetery. www.johnsonromito.com
