For EILEEN MARY NUNNEY (nee Noonan) the number 13 was significant. It’s the date she met the love of her life, the date she married him and the date she reunited with him for eternity in Heaven (Thursday, April 13th). Eileen was a proud mother and grandmother who was always compassionate, understanding and graceful. She was a retired guidance secretary (Aurora HS) and church secretary (SS. Cosmas and Damian Parish). She enjoyed crocheting, bowling and spending time with her friends and family whom she loved dearly. Eileen is survived by eldest daughters; Angela Walbroehl (Michael) and Krista Putnam, son Joseph F. Nunney Jr. (Sarah Hughes), and youngest daughter Sara Myers (Michael) as well as five grandchildren; Nicholas Putnam, Kyle Walbroehl, Lindsay Putnam, Amelia Myers and Isabella Myers. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Sr. “Fran”, granddaughter Kaitlyn Putnam, sister Carol Swartz and brother John “Jack” Noonan (Anne, living).
