JAMIE A. “JOAN” (Cordaro) MASON, 65, passed away Thursday, March 2, at Cleveland Clinic Hospice. She confronted kidney disease with optimism and hope for nearly seven years. Joan, as her family knew her, was born in Cleveland on June 3, 1957, to James A. and Theresa C. (Artino) Cordaro, both of whom preceded her in death. Joan was a lifelong fan of her beloved Cleveland Browns, a ferocious trivia player, and an animal lover. She was a doting aunt to her three nieces and she had a hardy, infectious laugh. She is survived by her sisters, Connie Cordaro, Broadview Hts., and Janet (John) Leach, Fairlawn; nieces Cara (Wiley) Ederer of Broadview Hts., Natalie Leach of Lakewood, and Monica (Kevin) Arnold, Lakewood; her devoted uncle, Ned Artino, Seven Hills, and many close cousins and dear friends.
