Obituary: Jessie James Graves

Jessie James Graves passed December 10 2022 peacefully at The Reserve of Brentwood he WAS BORN the FIRST OF NINE children to his parents James and Theresa Graves on December 30 1948 in Almeda W.Va. his family moved to Youngstown Ohio in 1955 where Jessie attended Jerusalem Baptist church. He graduated in 1967 from east high school and received a scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh where he attended and graduated in 1971 then returned home to the Youngstown area worked in retailed at Strouss Department store later being recruited for 21 action news as a field reporter and he anchored for 2 years prior to retirement then he relocated to Warren and was a active caregiver for his grandmother until her death and he became involve in sunday morning serenity eastwood mall under the guidance of his sponsor Jessie was beloved by many for his charm intelligence conversation and joy of life. He was an avid reader and traveler with Hawaii as his favorite destination and an artist. A sharp dresser and great orator speaker. He Loved his family and his family loved him Be loved brother of T Michelle Beachman(ARRILOUS), MAXINE JONES(ERNEST), Mary Thomas(Donald) Theresa Wiggins(Fred) Jeffrey Graves(Alisa) and Jimmy Lee Graves.

JESSIE GRAVES MEMORIAL SERVICES WILL BE December 30 at 11:30 a.m. at Northfield Presbyterian Church 7715 S. BOYDEN ST. NORTHFIELD OHIO 44067 REPAST IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING 915 W. AURORA RD NORTHFIELD OHIO 44067 COMMUNITY ROOM
