Obituary: Kathryn Ann Koehler (nee Angle)

Kathryn Ann Koehler (nee Angle). Our beloved Kathy went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at home. Preceded in death by her father, Harry Angle, Kathy leaves her mother, Judith Angle, daughters, Amanda (Mike Brzeczkowski) Blackley and Grace Blackley, son Matt, one granddaughter on the way, husband Ron, sisters Karen (Mark) Giardina and Jen (Jim) Fox, brother Dave Angle, the father of her children, Terry Blackley, stepchildren Dan (Shelly) Koehler, Cynthia (Will) Collins, Katrina (Mike) Steele, many aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces, step-grandchildren, brothers- and sisters-in law, and friends. Kathy grew up in Chesterland, where she lived until five years ago, when she moved to Macedonia. She graduated from West Geauga High School and received a certification as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant from Case Western Reserve University. Kathy most recently worked at Case’s Faculty Practice, and worked for several dentists in Northeast Ohio since she was a teenager. Kathy is a member of Christ Community Chapel in Hudson, and previously attended Word of Grace and Christ Presbyterian Church in Chesterland. The family would like to thank Dr. Vinit Makkar the staffs at Hillcrest Cancer Center, Hospice of Western Reserve, and Stewart’s Caring Place of Fairlawn, for the excellent care they provided. Calling hour Sat. Aug 5 at 10:00, funeral at 11:00 and lunch reception at 12:00 at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsboro St., Hudson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stewart’s Caring Place of Fairlawn or Christ Community Chapel.
