William “Bill” Ernest Brown, age 63 of Canal Winchester, Ohio (formerly of Northfield, OH and Florida), passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond A. and Barbara (nee Minnick) Brown; and his brother Thomas (Carla – surviving) Brown.
He is survived by his stepdaughters: Mishca, Mariah, and Melissa; brothers Raymond Brown, James (Cheryl) Brown; John Brown, sister Patricia Myers; nieces and nephews: Zachary Brown, Vanessa Brown, Ashley (partner Ken Falzini) Palko, Michael (Amanda) Palko, Jacqueline Brown (fiancé Brian Drebo) , Jonathan Myers, and Grace (Joey) Simon; great-nieces and nephews: Jacob and Abigail Palko, Adelaide and Jean Simon, and Dominic Falzini.
Bill grew up in Northfield and graduated from Nordonia High School, Class of 1980. Bill had a deep love of history. He enjoyed vintage memorabilia, including bicycles, toys, pipes and guns. He took great joy in using and experiencing them, and you could often find him shooting, riding his bicycles, or relaxing with one of his pipes. He was also a member of the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association, Canal Fulton Muzzleloading Club, OGCA, Ohio Long Rifle Association, Cow Town Pipe Club and many others.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Blood Cancer United (www.bloodcancerunited.org) in memory of Bill’s brother, Thomas Brown.
Friends will be received 9:30-10:30 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Busch-Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora Rd. (Rt. 82, One mile west of Rt. 8), Northfield, OH 44067 where funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery.
