KENNETH F. SCHUETZ, age 90, passed away on December 6, 2021. Private family services will be celebrated with interment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
My grandpa was a legend. Not only was he a legend, he was a hero. He was my superhero and who I’ve always looked up to all my life. Grandpa wasn’t a man of many words… but when he laughed, it would echo across a room. He always supported and looked out for me, especially when it came to school. Grandpa would always wait for me at dismissal and make sure that I was always on time. We came home and he made sure my homework was done before sharing laughts with our favorite TV shows. Even though they were cartoons, he took the time to ask questions and get to know each character! Just like when we would go to the amusement parks, Grandpa would ride “The Beastie” with me every summer. Or, when we went to Myrtle Beach and he would help me putt putt. He would always ask the best questions and respond with the best responses. For example, “Hey Ash, wo was the Grandpa we use to watch after school?” “Remember when we watched that show?” Hearing his laugh was truly my favorite. It will forever be engraved in my heard. I love you Grandpa and would give anything to hear your laugh one last time. Until then, we will meet again and continue our Nickelodeon TV show marathon and sharing more laughs together. I love you forever and always Poppa!
