Obituary: PAULINE NEILSEN (nee Wanchik)

PAULINE NEILSEN (nee Wanchik), age 103, passed away at home on September 5, 2023.  Loving wife of the late Frederick Neilsen Jr.;  cherished mother of Frederick (Terri) Neilsen III, the late David C. Neilsen, and Karen Neilsen; grandmother of David F. Neilsen, Rachel A. Neilsen, and Daniel E. Neilsen.  Preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Mary, and her siblings:  Mary (Sam); Nicholas (Margaret); George (Mary); Helen (Emil);  Joseph (Helen); Paul; Martha (Joseph); and Delphine (Edward);  dear aunt of the late Elaine, Rosemary, Kathleen, Nicholas, the late Michael, the late Mary Kay, Deborah, Gregory, the late David F., Dennis, the late George, John, Laura, and Nina; and great nieces and nephews.  Pauline was a long-standing member of the Walton Hills Women’s Club and the Altar Guild at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M.  OR AT ST. TIMOTHY’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 8667 SHEPARD RD. (CORNER OF SHEPARD AND OH 82), MACEDONIA FOR VISITATION ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2023 FROM 9:30 – 10 A.M. Pauline’s funeral services will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. at church. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested in her name to the Altar Guild at St. Timothy’s.
