Richard Albert Meyer, age 92 of Macedonia, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Richard was the beloved husband for 60 years of the late Beverly Ann (nee Knepper) Meyer; devoted father of Gregory (Carol) Meyer and Brian Meyer; cherished grandfather of Christopher Meyer and dear brother of the late Hank (Marlene) Meyer. Richard served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a devoted, long time member of Northfield Presbyterian Church and worked at Cleveland Cliffs, Diamond Shamrock and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora Rd. (Rt. 82, one mile west of Rt. 8), Northfield Center, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Northfield Presbyterian Church, 7755 S. Boyden Road, Northfield, Ohio. The service can be viewed online from the tribute wall of Richard’s obituary at www.johnsonromito.com after 1:00 PM that day. Interment will be at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Richard’s name to Northfield Presbyterian Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 70 W.
