Road Rage Suspect Apprehended

On Friday, June 14, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Summit County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a road rage incident occurring in Northfield Center Township. The victim called 911 and stated the suspect passed their vehicle and brandished a handgun. The Sheriff’s Office obtained a description of the suspect and his vehicle. The Stow Pow Police Department located the suspect’s vehicle and subsequently stopped the vehicle. The suspect was identified as Maxwell V. Labonte, age 33 of Cuyahoga Falls. The handgun was located and secured by deputies. The Sheriff’s Office arrested Mr. Labonte for Aggravated Menacing (M-1). He was transported to the Summit County Jail.
