Drug and Traffic Offense
Officers stopped a black Dodge Dart on Old Eight Valley View Road on Sept. 9 after noticing an issue with the vehicle’s license plate display. The stop turned up a marijuana blunt, a scale, a glass pipe with marijuana residue, a second marijuana blunt and a sealed bag of Kush Mintz marijuana. Police arrested a woman, 18, of Maple Heights. She faces charges of drug paraphernalia, improper display of license plates and failure to reinstate a driver’s license.
OVI Arrest
A private property crash sent officers to a parking lot on West Aurora Road on Sept. 16. Callers told dispatchers the driver may have passed out behind the wheel. Police arrested a woman, 33, of Northfield. She was charged with operating a vehicle impaired by drugs or alcohol and with refusal after a prior OVI conviction within the past 20 years.
Domestic Disputes
A husband and wife were involved in a domestic dispute at a home on Heartridge Drive on Sept. 12. Officers responded and a third woman was also listed on the report.
A separate case brought a man to the Sagamore Hills police station on Sept. 13. He wanted to verify whether a restraining order had been filed against him after a dispute at a home on Pinewood View Road.
Disturbance
Police were sent to a home on Carter Road on Sept. 17 for a disturbance between cousins.
Theft and Fraud
A Canyon View Road resident reported identity theft to police on Sept. 16.
A Canterbury Lane resident requested a report for theft on Sept. 17.
Property Damage
Several residents came to the station on Sept. 16 to report property damage near Marymac Road and Sagamore Road that had occurred the day before. Multiple vehicles were listed in connection with the report, including a Cadillac, a Ford pickup, a Lincoln and a Hyundai.

Officers responded to a home on McPherson Circle on Sept. 10 for a civil matter.
Police were also dispatched that same day to a home on Otis Court for a juvenile complaint.

Officers and a rescue squad checked on a resident at an apartment on Millrace Lane on Sept. 18, a call that carried into the morning of Sept. 19.
