On Thursday, July 4, 2024, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Valley View Road in Northfield Center Township. It was reported a home had been struck by gunfire. Upon arrival, deputies found three rounds had penetrated the exterior of the residence. Further investigation led to the arrest of two males, Brandon Drazil, age 22 and Maxwell Tedor age 20. Both men are residents of Northfield Center Township. It appeared both subjects fired approximately 30-50 rounds while celebrating the holiday.
The males were each charged with Discharge of Firearm on or Near Prohibited Premises (F3), Discharge of Firearm on or Near Prohibited Premises (M1), and Criminal Damaging (M2). They were both transported to the Summit County Jail.
