SUMMER ACTIVITIES AT LONGWOOD MANOR

This Summer proves to be a busy one at Longwood Manor, 1634 East Aurora Rd, in Macedonia. Haven’t been to Longwood Manor? Here’s your chances to drop by.

Longwood Manor presents the 50-piece University Heights Symphonic Band, under the direction of Devlin Pope, on the evening of Thursday, July 18th, at 7:00pm. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, maybe a picnic dinner, and enjoy music that includes marches, show tunes, and sounds of Americana. Longwood Manor Historical Society is your host.

At the Macedonia City Center Community Room, radio broadcaster and historian Mike Olszewski will present a talk on radio personality Pete “Mad Daddy” Myers on Thursday, August 1st, at 7:00pm. Admission is five dollars. Mike will also have his books for sale after the presentation. Admission and book sales proceeds will go towards restoration of Longwood Manor.

The third annual Rummage Sale will take place on the weekends of August 9th and 10th, and August 23rd and 24th from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Do your Christmas shopping early with interesting gifts and decorations.

Open Houses occur on the last Sunday of each month from April through November. The Manor house is open from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
