Suspect Arrested for Gun and Drug Charges

On April 4, 2024, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Wunderlich Avenue in the City of Barberton. The warrant was in connection to possible drug trafficking being conducted at the residence. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of the following items: 7.21 grams of Cocaine, 8.96 grams of Fentanyl, 342.98 grams of Methamphetamine, and a 9 mm handgun (see photograph).

The resident was identified as Timothy Jackson, age 51 of Barberton. Jackson was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine (F-1), Trafficking in Fentanyl (F-3), Trafficking in Cocaine (F-4), Possession of Cocaine (F-4), and Having a Weapon while under Disability (F-3). Jackson was transported to the Summit County Jail.
