The Nordonia Knights 10U LFG team won the 2023 April Showers Classic in Independence, OH this past weekend (4/15-4/16). A great example of hard work pays off. The 10U LFG team went 3-1 to bring home the glory and Championship. The weekend started off with their only loss of the weekend to the Broadview Heights Eagles, but hard work and determination saw them facing the Eagles again in the Championship, this time ending in a 5-4 win for the 10U LFG Knights! Head Coach Chase Senk described the weekends play perfectly, “WOW. Just Incredible. So proud of the boys. They battled and didn’t lose their composure when we got tested. They rebounded so well after our loss yesterday and I feel like they grew up a lot this weekend. Got some things to work on and fine tune, but what a great way to kick off the season. Onward and upward!”
The 10U LFG Knights have changed leagues this year and will playing in the OPL (Ohio Prospects League) where they play against the best youth competitive baseball teams in Northeast Ohio. Come witness for yourself the game play and become yet another fan of the 10U LFG Knights!
