Two Nordonia Knights Pitchers Combine To Defeat Cuyahoga Falls In Shutout Game

Nordonia Knights defeated Cuyahoga Falls 5-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Hunter Grams induced a groundout from Harris to finish off the game.

A double by Grochowski in the first inning was a positive for Cuyahoga Falls.

Ricky McLeod was on the hill for Nordonia Knights. The pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out five and walking zero.

#39 toed the rubber for Cuyahoga Falls. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out three. Glenny threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Caden Gopalakrishna, Aidan Chilton, Daniel Hanson, Logan Shaffer, Jared Zender, McLeod, and Billy Levak all had one hit to lead Nordonia Knights. Nordonia Knights didn’t commit a single error in the field. Zender had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
