STARTING 5/11/20 Dear Village Of Northfield Residents:
We are pleased to inform you that the collection of bulk items along with bagged extras outside the cart will begin again the week of Monday, May 11, 2020. To help continue keeping our people safe all trash must be bagged as we will not be picking up loose trash
Due to anticipated heavy volumes during the week some bulk stops may not be picked up on the regular service day. Waste Management crews will work to recover the material as quickly thereafter as possible based on crew availability.
No one can reliably predict the length of this emergency event, when potential service disruptions may occur, including another suspension of bulk collection and other services, or how long they may last. Waste Management will continue to provide prompt notice of our operational capabilities and changes as they occur.
We especially appreciate your understanding and support to help keep our drivers and their families safe during these challenging times.
