On 06/01/2020 I, Ptl. Pistone responded to a report of property damage on Kennedy Blvd. The resident stated that about two months ago, a blue Mack truck drove down the street and took wires down. In result of the wires behind pulled down, the residents house also has damaged siding where the wires were connected. A report was taken.
PERSONAL WELFARE
On 06/02/2020 at 2047 hours, NVPD and NVFD units responded for a welfare check on a female subject who may of been possibly suicidal. After completing a on scene investgation, NVFD transported the female subject to Bedford Hospital for further treatment due to possible over exposure of drugs/alcohol.
PERSONAL WELFARE On June 3rd, 2020 officers were dispatched for a welfare check for a female screaming in the Lee Eaton parking lot. Upon arrival officer spoke to female and her boyfriend. The female was transported to Bedford Hospital for evaluation.
HARASSING COMMUNICATION
On 06/04/2020 I, Ptl. Pistone responded to NVPD for a resident on station to file a harrassment report. The resident stated that her husband, in Nevada, Missouri was harrassing her. A report was taken.
TRAFFIC OFFENSE
On listed date and time this officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. During interaction with the occupants it was discovered that the front seat passenger had a warrant for his arrest through Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Dept. Also discovered in his wallet was suspected drugs that will be sent for testing. He was transported to Bedford Hts. Jail as set up by CCSO.
06/16/2020 On listed date and time officers were dispatched to North Plaza Dr. reference a male that was overdosing on heroin and not breathing. On scene nasal narcan was administered by PD and FD personell. The male became reponsive and refused further assistance.
On 06/16/2020, at approximately 1125 hours, Northfield Village Officers responded to Beech Ave. for a report of theft from a work trailer. A report was taken and an investigation was started.
ON 06/18/2020, AT APPROXIMATELY 04:40 PM I WAS CONTACTED BY DISPATCH FOR A MALE ON STATION WANTING TO REPORT A THEFT. AN INVESTIGATION WAS STARTED.
ON 06/23/2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 15:58 HOURS, I WAS CONTACTED BY DISPATCH FOR FOUND PROPERTY AT ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR. UPON ARRIVAL, WAS ADVISED THAT A GUN WAS FOUND UNDER THE DRIVER‘S SEAT OF THE VEHICLE. AN INVESTIGATION WAS STARTED.
FRAUD
On 06/24/2020, at 1620 hours, I Ptl. Wilson #810, responded to the Northfield Village Police Report for a Fraud Report. Complainant stated her credit card number was used at Circle K 10216 Northfield Rd. multiple times during March and April. Complainant stated she never used her card there and that she had possession of the card until the bank told her destroy it. A report was taken.
On 6/27/2020 at 1645 Hours, an elderly male requested to file a police report. While speaking with the male, he advised that on 06/26/2020 he was sold fake jewelry while playing at the MGM Casino. At this time, a report was generated, the jewelry was photographed and a written statement was obtained. The case is currently under investigation.
ASSAULT
Susan Brown came to the station to report she was a victim of an assault. An investigation was begun. On 6–30-20 the case is closed due to lack of evidence.
