Macedonia Police Reports December: Reports of Shots Fired, Employee Theft, Driver Disobeying “No Left Turn In” and More

Editor’s Note: These reports are the latest sampling of the Macedonia police reports so far from December.

Various Traffic stops: expired license, driving under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia through Macedonia Mayor’s Court.

Various theft reports from Walmart, Kohl’s and Home Depot.

Other items of note:


All Macedonia Police Units responded to report of shots fired at a Macedonia residence. After further investigation, a male was arrested. The person arrested had an outstanding warrant. No charges have been filed about the shots fired at this time.


A driver made a left turn on Rt 82 into Speedway disobeying the clearly posted “No left turn in” sign. According to police reports, the driver stated he saw the sign but made the turn anyway. The driver was charged with Driving Under Suspension, Obedience to Traffic Control Device and Possession of Marihuana (all misdemeanors).


Macedonia police responded to a call that stated that a male had urinated outside of The Avenue on a light post. The police arrived on the scene and noticed the suspect was still on the scene in a vehicle in the parking lot. He is charged with Possession of Marijuana (MM), Opened Container (MM), Disorderly Conduct (MM) and Driving Under Suspension (UM) through Macedonia Mayor’s Court.


A Best Buy employee was charged with Theft (MI) through Macedonia Mayor’s Court. The employee took various electronics from the recycling bin and sold at least one item.


A female left her small child in the car unattended while she went into the store to use the restroom at Home Depot. She was charged with child endangering.


Suspicious activity at Walmart led to a female charged with Fictitious Plates, Possession of a Controlled Substance (F-5) and (M-1) and a male was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Improperly Handling a Firearm in a motor vehicle(f-4), Carrying Concealed Weapons While Under Disability (F-3) through the Stow Municipal Court.


Someone’s identity was stolen via a Fake Amazon Hiring email.


Macedonia police were called to a residence in Macedonia. A male was charged with Domestic Violence, felony of the fourth degree, possession of drugs,  misdemeanor of the first degree and unlawful restraint through Stow Municipal Court.


A female was arrested for Theft and using a Handicap placard that was not issued in her name at Walmart.


An employee at Rallyhouse had their car’s passenger window shattered. Nothing was reported missing.


A male was charged with disorderly conduct MM, drug possession MM and drug paraphernalia after they were seen chasing someone near the Macedonia Police Station.
