Obituary: Anthony Ronald “Ron” Fecko

Anthony Ronald “Ron” Fecko passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 7, 2017. Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandpa.  Ron was a police officer and detective for the Maple Heights Police Department for 30 years. He was also a corporal in the United States Marine Corps, serving his country with pride.  Ron had an undying loving for his wife Jean, for 55 years.  Ron lived a full, beautiful life enjoying his family and friends.  He was a loyal Cleveland Sports fan and had a genuine love for the “ponies.” He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Ron is survived by his wife, Jean (nee Perry); his children Sarah Nero (Tony), Daniel (Lori), Susan Horrigan (Kevin), and Michael (Kristin); grandchildren Nikki Gotch (Slade), Sammi Nero, Michael Nero, Luke, Matthew, Breanne Horrigan, Taylor Horrigan, Drew, Sydney, and Jack; and great granddaughter Rayna Gotch. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON TUESDAY FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M. Funeral Wednesday 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
