Irene Seidel (nee Staudinger), of North Benton, OH, formerly of Northfield Center, OH, died at her home, on August 25, 2018, after a 21-year long battle with Stage IV Breast Cancer.
A native of Munich, Germany, she was retired from S-P Mfg./Greer Hydraulics, where she had worked for 29 ½ years.
Preceded in death by her husband Ronald D. Seidel, parents Ludwig and Anna (nee Gauss) Staudinger, and her beloved daughter-in-law Barbara.
She is survived by her son Ronald D. Seidel II and his wife Rose, her daughters Patricia A. (Simak) Yaeger, Brenda E. (Owens) Pearson, and Carole I. Bressman, 6 grandsons, 9 great-grandchildren.
She also leaves her sister Brigitte D’Antoni, and niece Daniela Poltinger, both of Munich, Germany.
Visitation will be held 4-8pm, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at JOHNSON-ROMITO FUNERAL HOME, 99 W. AURORA RD., NORTHFIELD CENTER, OH (330) 468-1443, where services will be held at 12 noon, on Friday, August 31, 2018. Interment to follow at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery.
