Obituary: JOSEPH M. KAMRAD

JOSEPH M. KAMRAD, JR. age 78 of Garfield Hts. passed away December 3, 2017 in Naples Florida. Beloved husband of the late Donna (nee Rammel); loving son of the late Edith and Joseph M. , Sr.; dear brother of Joan Esler (Lee) and Judith Gossett; treasured brother-in-law of Joan Weldon; cherished uncle and godfather of Heather Longwell (Adam) and uncle to Daphne Weldon Fetsch (Johnnie), Mark Weldon and James Gossett; great-uncle of Kendall Longwell; best friend of Paulette and Jeff Skinner and Kevin and godson Todd Skinner, who Joe considered his nephews. Mr. Kamrad was born in Akron, Ohio and graduated from St. Mary High School in 1957. He then attended the University of Akron and Cleveland State University. He was employed as a Sales Manager at Ace Glass Inc. retiring in 2004. Joe was a mentor to many in his career and a friend to all. He loved all sports especially the Cleveland Indians. He was a 3rd Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 3529 of North Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Kamrad’s name can be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Rd. Bethesda, MD. 20814.
