St. Barnabas Villa Receives 2019 Beautification Award

St. Barnabas Villa has received the fifth annual Nordonia Hills Garden Club Beautification Award.  Members of the Garden Club selected them by vote from the area’s rehabilitation and assisted living facilities.  The award is a certificate recognizing interesting landscaping or gardens that can be seen by the general public. In addition to decorative landscaping,  St. Barnabas Villa has a thriving vegetable garden.

In the picture: Seated is Maria Roman, resident gardener at the Villa, and standing are Dottie Krieger, President of Nordonia Hills Garden Club, Natalie Priest, Director of St. Barnabas Villa, and Rose Cassmer, Beautification Chair.

Carolyn Schneider (not pictured) took the original pictures that were presented to the members to make their selection.

Last year’s recipient was the Good Shepherd Church.
