Obituary: MARY DOROTHY BUTKOVIC (nee Pozarelli)

MARY DOROTHY BUTKOVIC (nee Pozarelli) age 86 passed away on May 23, 2018 surrounded by family.  Mary took great pleasure in sewing and crocheting, loved the Cleveland Indians, and being in the church choir. She was a Founding Queen in the Red Hat Society. She was very patriotic, loved playing cards and games and cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed rose gardening. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Deacon Donald Butkovic, sons Donn (Jessie), James (Jeanine) and Michael (Mary Beth), and daughters Judy (Steven) Kreye , and Karen (Michael) Wajda, 21 grandchildren, sisters Helen Leary and Margaret Prebe and a brother Joseph (Barbara) Pozarelli.  In addition, she is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter Mary Beth, parents Ursula (nee Muhic) and Anton Pozarelli,  brothers Stanley Patrick Pozar, Albert and Anthony Pozarelli , sisters Carmella, Dolores and Veronica Pozarelli, in addition to many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. (OHIO RTE. 82) SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION SUNDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M. Friends are invited to gather at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 9080 Shepard Rd. Macedonia Oh. 44056, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions in her name are suggested to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Liturgical Memorial Fund.
