The musical and weather gods were watching over old-time music lovers this Sunday evening as the Nordonia Concert In the Park Committee prepared their performance space at Sagamore Hills Park. A mid-afternoon torrential downpour threatened the concert, to be performed by popular local cover band KATCH. But, almost on cue at about 4:15 P.M. the skies brightened just in time for a lovely evening of music and festivities. To boot, the concert was enjoyed by one of the biggest crowds in Concert In The Park history! KATCH performed classics from James Brown to Frank Sinatra, and everything in between, with crowd pleasing interaction and tasteful showmanship.
The event was catered by Great Lakes Grillers (330-603-1034) who provided hot dogs, bratwursts, Italian sausages, and snacks. The next Concert In The Park will be at Northfield Village’s Smith Park (125 Houghton Rd.) July 1st, 2018 with performance by The Silvercreek Duo. A big thank you to the staff that arranges these pleasurable evenings, if you would like to follow when the next concert is, you can like them on facebook “Nordonia Hills Concerts” or follow them on Instagram @NordoniaHillsConcerts.
