Theresa Mary “Terri” (nee Russell) Hudak, age 85, of Macedonia, Ohio went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2021 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio the middle daughter of the late Eleanor Catherine (nee Martin) and late Jerome Cornelius Russell. Terri’s faith in Jesus and her family were the most important things in her life. She was a member of the Macedonia Church of the Nazarene. Terri retired from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections in 2009 after 31 years. She was active in the Republican Party and Macedonia’s Longwood Manor House restoration process and fund raising. She enjoyed her retirement years by traveling, polka dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
Terri is survived by her daughters, Teri Knechtly and her husband Dennis (Denny) Knechtly of Wylie, TX; Sandy Lynch and her husband Denis Lynch of Bay Saint Louis, MS; and her son, Bill Hudak and his wife Heather Graham-Hudak of Lighthouse Point, FL; grandsons Brian and Dylan Knechtly of Wylie, TX; great grandchildren Dayton Hensley of Josephine, TX; Kinley and Charlotte Knechtly of Little Elm, TX. Terri was proceeded in death by her sisters Carita Riggs (1963); Gerrie Riggs (2021); granddaughter Lauren Hensley (2013) of Wylie, TX; grandson Darren Knechtly (2018) of Wylie, TX; ex-husband William Hudak (2018) of Garland, TX; and her dear friend Bob Kominek (2021). Terri will be missed by her loving family and many friends.
