Nordonia Knights Nation,
As many of you already know, the Nordonia High School girls bowling team won the State Championship last weekend. This is only the second State Championship ever won by a Nordonia High School team. The team is being recognized at Monday evening’s School Board Meeting, March 20.
As a way for the community to show their recognition of the team, I have arranged to have the Macedonia Police escort a school van carrying the girls to the Board Meeting. The van will be departing Nordonia High School at 6:40 PM. We will travel up South Bedford to Route 82 and then proceed west on 82 to Olde Eight in Northfield. Please come out along the sidewalks on Route 82 to cheer for the team on their tremendous accomplishment. We will NOT be stopping traffic on 82 but with the number of traffic lights we will be assured of stopping along the route.
