Representatives from Oakwood Hospitality have proposed constructing a 90-room hotel on Girl Scout Way. The hotel plans will be taken to a franchise, one of which will be an InterContinental, according to representatives. A franchise decision could be made within two weeks.
A preliminary site plan was submitted by hotel representatives at the March 20 planning commission meeting.
Hotel representatives were granted a conditional zoning certificate.
The proposal was continued until the April 17 planning commission meeting.
