The Nordonia Varsity Boys Cross Country Team participated in the Avon Lake Invitational held on Saturday morning at Lorain County Community College. Senior Justin Roberts led the team by finishing 36th with a time of 18:33.20 and earning 34 points.
Junior Kaden Seredick followed closely in 37th place, clocking in at 18:33.80 and securing 35 points. Senior Andy Cundra completed the race in 18:37.70, claiming the 39th spot individually with 37 points.
Junior Kaden Seredick earned the 54th spot with a time of 18:51.60, and sophomore Ethan Mellott landed in 56th place, finishing in 19:00.60. The Nordonia Boys Cross Country Team achieved a 6th-place finish out of 13 competing schools and outperformed the host school, Avon Lake, which finished 8th with a total of 222 points.
Among the group of nine Nordonia Varsity Boys Runners, several notables included junior Branden Garren in 63rd place with 60 points, sophomore Raphael Gotfryd taking the 71st position with 66 points, freshman Aiden Flynn securing the 73rd place, and freshman Samuel Lang finishing 82nd.
