On Tuesday, September 19th, the Lady Knights Junior Varsity Golf team faced off against the Stow-Munroe Falls High School Golf team. Nordonia’s Junior Varsity team traveled to Fox Den Golf Course to compete against Stow. Freshman golfer Polly Loney of the Lady Knights achieved her personal best score of 48 during this match.
The following day, on Wednesday, September 20th, the Junior Varsity Golf Team participated in the Brunswick JV Invitational, hosted by Brunswick High School at Coppertop Golf Course. Sophomore Carley Sutton, a Lady Knight golfer, also achieved her personal best score of 90 during this event.
Freshman Alyssa Lane achieved her personal best score of 114 for the Stow Bulldogs. Other scores for Stow included Emmy Hughes (122), Hannah Staples (126), and Kiera Sayre (132). The host team, the Brunswick Junior Varsity Golf team, placed 15th with a total team score of 474.
The Brunswick Girls Golf team was led by Muslusky, who had an individual score of 111. Other scores for the Brunswick team included Pyo (115), Tytko-Fox (123), Hudak (125), and Tracy (130).
UP NEXT: The Junior Varsity Girls Golf team will be facing the Brunswick High School Golf team on September 26th. The meet will take place at Bunker Hill Golf Center.
