Obituary: Eugene Goad

Eugene Goad, age 90 of Northfield Village, OH, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Darlene A. (nee Lee); his parents Cas and Oma (nee Daugherty) Goad; brothers Oscar, Wade, Eddie, Clayton, Leamon, and Richard; and sister Mary. He is survived by his loving daughters Diane (Dan) Breeding, Julia (Tom) Romaine, Ronda (Mark) McCulley, Tina (Frank) LaSelle, and Sherry (Jerry) Markul; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers Elmer (Carol) and James Goad; and many nieces and nephews. Eugene loved country music, fishing, and dancing, especially clogging. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org). Friends will be received Monday, July 1, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora Rd.
