Nordonia Boys Soccer Rebounds with Dominant 5-1 Victory Over Ellet

Washington nets four goals as Knights bounce back from shutout loss

After suffering an 8-0 defeat to Brecksville, the Nordonia boys soccer team returned to form with a commanding 5-1 victory over Ellet.

Micheal Washington powered the Knights’ offensive attack with four goals, while Mason Vnuk added his second goal of the season. The scoring surge came after goalkeeper Jeremiah Wiggins posted a clean sheet in the first half.

Crosby Channel took over goalkeeping duties in the second half and nearly matched Wiggins’ shutout performance, surrendering only an own goal in the final minute of play.

Nordonia’s defensive unit of Jeremy Cemak, Charles Wheaton, Tyler Vnuk, Declan Rafferty and Jackson Neil continued their strong play. The Knights played without starting fullback Wolf, who remains sidelined with a knee injury.

The victory marks a significant turnaround for Nordonia following their lopsided loss to Brecksville earlier in the week.
