On May 27, 2026, at approximately 2055 hours, Northfield Village police officers responded to an emergency call regarding a domestic dispute on Beech Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, responding units were met by both involved parties outside of their residence. Following an initial investigation, officers determined that a male party had made explicit threats of force against a female party.
The male suspect was arrested on charges of domestic violence and subsequently transported to the Macedonia Jail. He was housed at the facility pending his scheduled arraignment on May 28, 2026, at 1000 hours in the Stow Municipal Court, which maintains jurisdiction over misdemeanor criminal cases in northern Summit County.
