NORTHFIELD, Ohio – Northfield Park Racino will celebrate its Grand Opening with more promotions, entertainment, new VLTs and live racing in July. The racino recently completed a rebrand and is celebrating with new VLTs, expanded dining options, racing and entertainment offerings, including the Red, White & Ride Drawings, $1 Million Grand Opening Drawings, the official ribbon-cutting celebration, Summit County Fair Races, Boogie Nights in The Neon Room and the Grand Opening Free Concert Series on Saturdays.
July Promotions
Red, White and Ride Drawings – 3 Cars. 3 Days will take place on Saturdays, July 11, July 18 and July 25, with hourly drawings from noon to 7 p.m. Four winners will be drawn every hour to receive $500 Free Play or a finalist spot.
Each Saturday at 8 p.m., one lucky guest will win a Mustang during the Grand Finale Reveal. All other finalists will receive $1,000 Free Play and Free Gas for a Year. NP Rewards members can earn 10x bonus entries on select Fridays in July.
Official Grand Opening Celebration — The official Grand Opening Celebration will begin Friday, July 31, at 11 a.m. and will include ribbon cuttings, cake cutting including complimentary cupcakes, giveaways, entertainment and more. The celebration is open to the public.
$1 Million Grand Opening Drawings — On Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, Northfield Park Racino will host two days of Grand Opening drawings with 32 drawings and more than 140 guaranteed winners.
Free Play for a Year: More than 70 winners will be drawn each day from noon to 7 p.m. to receive $500 Free Play every month for a year.
$50,000 Cash Drawing: One lucky guest will be drawn at 8 p.m. to win $50,000 cash and Free Play for a Year.
Entertainment and Nightlife
Boogie Nights, the ultimate ’70s, ’80s and ’90s dance party, will take over The Neon Room on Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, at 9 p.m. with free admission. Guests are invited to dance the night away. Guests are encouraged to dress and enjoy specialty cocktails during the ultimate retro party.

Summit County Fair Races — On Saturday, August 1, Northfield Park Racetrack will host the Summit County Fair Races, with post time at 6 p.m. Guests can enjoy a family-friendly evening featuring games for kids and adults, a live DJ and specialty fair food on the apron.
