Sagamore Hills police handled a mix of calls between July 7 and July 18, according to incident reports obtained by NEOhio.news. The reports cover welfare checks, a harassment complaint and a case of property damage.
Welfare Checks and Psychiatric Calls
Officers responded to a residence on Brinmore Road on the night of July 11 for a welfare check that turned into a domestic dispute call. The call came in shortly after 10 p.m. and cleared just after midnight. Ptl. Ryan Ennis and Ptl. Terrance Wilson Jr. handled the response.
Three days later, officers were dispatched to a home on Bridgewater Lane for a psychiatric situation. The call came in around 9:40 p.m. on July 14, and officers assisted a rescue squad on scene. Ptl. William Ryan and Ptl. Chris Salveter responded.
On July 17, Sagamore Hills police were sent to a location on West Aurora Road after a report of a person possibly wanting to harm themselves. The call came in around 8:38 p.m. and cleared by 9:24 p.m. Ptl. William Ryan and Ptl. Gary Petrusky handled the response.
Animal and Property Incidents
An injured groundhog prompted a call to a business on West Aurora Road on July 11. The report also listed a firearms discharge complaint tied to the same call. Ptl. Christina Meyers and Ptl. Robert Patterson responded around 1:34 p.m.
Officers were called to a single family home on Chandler Court on July 18 after a garage door was damaged. The call came in early that morning and was handled by Ptl. Tim Ellis and Ptl. Ryan Shelby.
Harassment and Civil Disputes
A walk in complaint at a pizza restaurant on West Aurora Road led to a telecommunications harassment report on July 8. The incident itself was said to have occurred the day before. Ptl. Christina Meyers took the report.
Officers were also dispatched to a residence on Tinkers Lane on July 10 for what was classified as a civil matter. Ptl. Ryan Ennis and Ptl. Adam Nunns responded to the call, which cleared within about half an hour.
